Gary was an awesome man. Despite many obstacles, he moved from an auto mechanic and installing A/C units, to becoming an expert woodcrafter. A best friend to his partner and hard guide to his sons, he was there for all. Gary never stopped "ruling the roost" with his pet sidekicks. He loved fishing and was an exceptional cook and avid reader. He always enjoyed the many card and dice games. He provided knowledge whenever needed-- It's not an exaggeration to say, science, history, auto repair, music, carpentry- he knew it all.
Gary was devoted to his religion and reached out especially to our Holy Mother Mary. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis Hardin and Muriel Parker, his oldest brother Louis Wayne, and his special stepdad, Benard Parker.
He treasured the love of his life, Denise, his sons, Eric and Curtis and his beloved DIL.(daughter-in-law-Kari) He always felt so very blessed with the large circle of family and friends surrounding him. He found joy in sharing stories and good times. His recall for endless, special moments in his life was amazing.
Gary was a blessing and an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be missed every day.
