Garry L. Kinney Sr. 73 has gone to be with his Lord. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Catherine Kinney; son, Garry Kinney Jr.; daughter, Linda Scarmardo and her husband Pete; siblings, George Kinney and his wife Mary Ann, Glendale Cooper, Gerry Brock, Glenda Faye Kinney and Trudy Kinney; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.
Gary is a native Houstonian, he was employed with Houston Mooring for 55 years. He was a loyal husband, father, friend and Christian. His legacy will be carried in the hearts of his family. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Brookside Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm in the chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am Monday, October 10, 2011 at St. Leo the Great Church, 2131 Lauder Rd. Houston TX 77039. Rite of Committal will be at Brookside Memorial Park. Officiating will be Father Rafael Bacerra and co-officiating will be Father Rivers Patout.
