Born right outside of Chicago, George moved to Houston at a very young age. He grew up loving music. George was a local musician and made many people happy with his music. He enjoyed traveling and making new friends wherever he went. He enjoyed fishing in the Texas Gulf Coast and had a natural zest for life. He is preceded in death by Francisco Nuñez and Bruno Nuñez.
He is survived by his wife Maria 'Lulu' Nuñez and his children Bruno Nuñez and Diego Nuñez. He is also survived by his mother, Guadalupe Nuñez, and further by Maria Espinoza, Frank Nuñez, Joe Nuñez, Felicitas Garza, Nidia Nuñez, and Stephen Nuñez.
A visitation for George will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087, followed by a funeral service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
