George F. Schlageter II, 76 of Dayton TX passed away November 21, 2019. He was born in Houston, Texas on November 2, 1943. George attended Aldine Sr. High School and received honorable discharges from the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air National Guard.
He was married Irmgard Marie Schlageter on July 25, 1969.
George had a career as a truck driver for Central Freight Lines, Distron, KLLM, Marten Transport, and Lane Freight. He was a member of Patriot Guard Riders and had a passion for living life; riding his motorcycle, camping; fishing and just being outside.
George was survived by Karen Schulman, Donna Burrell; Sherry Jackson (husband Addym Jackson); and George H. Schlageter II (wife Shaunna Schlageter) Michael Schlageter (wife Lacie); Brian Correll; Leigh Albarran (husband Josue); Camryn Jackson, Addym Jackson Jr and Madison Schlageter; Judy Alldredge (husband Joe; Cecil Schlageter (wife Pat); and Charles Schlageter (wife Stacey).
Funeral arrangements will be held at 12:30 p.m., December 3, 2019 at American Heritage Funeral Home.
