For all of us in Chapter CO-PEO, Georgia was our sister, our sparkle, spirit, flair and glue.  Her gentle spirit and grace and encouraged all of us and we will miss her so.  She always had fun ideas and got us organized and ready for a meeting, program, lunch or party.  She was our Mrs. Santa, song leader, gracious hostess and auctioneer.  Her voice was like a melody and full of love.  You always felt special when Georgia was near. Her essence as she entered a room made everything feel just right and comforting.  She loved Tom and her family and adored her grandchildren. When her mother needed help in later years, Georgia cared lovingly for her.  Georgia's smile would light up the world. I love sweet Georgia Terrell!  I feel truly honored and blessed to have known such a classy lady.  I was in the Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club with her and she always made the meetings so much fun.  We missed her at our ornament exchange this year because she always sang so beautifully.  I know that she is singing in Heaven now.  My prayers are with all of you.

I met Georgia in my bible study last year.  She was an incredible lady.  I feel blessed to have know her.  I loved her smile.  She will be missed.  My prayers are with the family.

When I met Georgia I felt she would have been the sister I always wanted. There is a sadness in every heart that ever met her. Her essence will live on in the love that encompases her from her family and those lucky enough to have known her.

I work with Georgia's daughter-in-law, Holly, and also consider Holly and Chris dear friends.  I've only had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Georgia once, but I could tell instantly that she was every bit the wonderful lady Holly said she was.  She seemed to remain graceful and brave even while battling a horrible disease - a true inspiration to us all.  You can rest in peace now, Ms. Georgia, knowing that you've done a wonderful job with your family and touching the lives of those around you. God bless.

I first met Georgia in 1992, she was always radiant and so loving of her family. Her smile and grace is easily seen in the wonderful family that surrounds her.

God bless Georgia and her wonderful family.  We greatly appreciated our times with Georgia and the lifetime friendship she and Tom have had with our parents, Kay and Martin Black.

Truly a valiant woman!  Inspiration to all who knew her! Faced with extreme difficulty, she still was concerned about her family and loved each one immeasurably! The first time I saw Georgia I was attracted to her beautiful smile. During our stay in Houston from 2003 to 2010 she would welcome and encourage us anytime. Whenever I saw her she would ask me about Yoshi's family and my family in Japan with her thoughtfulness.  
Her playing with Doc in front of our house made us happy and peaceful.
She sang some lullabies to my little one. I especialy liked "Patty cake patty cake, baker's man..." We will always remember your charming smile and voice in our hearts.
Georgia, thank you so much for a lot of kindness and great memories in Houston!

Georgia's son, Chris, is my dear friend since freshman year at College.  I had the pleasure of getting to know her both from Chris' stories and from trips back to our hometown, Houston.  Georgia was kind and caring, and she instilled those values in her children.  Georgia's spirit lives on in her 3 beautiful children and growing clan of grandchildren.  My family's heart goes out to Georgia's family during these difficult times.

I have been blessed to know Georgia as a dear friend and neighbor for the 8 1/2 years I've lived in Houston.  She was truly one of the most kind and gracious women I've ever known.  I will miss her beautiful smile, her love of fun, her constant thoughtfulness, and her joyous laughter.  She was a great source of strength and encouragement for me during a very challenging time in my life and I often called her my "Houston Mom." I love you Georgia!

Georgia has been my loving neighbor for over 17 years.  She has been the epitome of beauty and grace since the first day I met her.  She had a charming disposition, a beautiful smiling face and positive attitude to all she met.  Many neighbors have come and gone from around the world in our little corner of Thistlewood and Georgia welcomed them all with an open door and a faithful Labrador at her side.  Her home was a true reflection of the elegant woman she was, always festive and joyful.  Georgia’s children meant THE WORLD to her and anyone can see her beauty in each and every one of them.  Her husband, Tom, was the love of her life as she always lit up when she spoke about their courtship and how smitten she was by him.  Georgia was a grand lady and an incredible example of strength to all the women she knew on Thistlewood.  She was valiant in her fight with breast cancer, a true heroin.  I feel truly blessed and thankful for all the sunny days we shared together.  May her family know how much we appreciate being neighbors and how much we care about them in their time of sorrow.

Georgia was the most spectacular lady we've ever known. When we moved to Houston in 2005 Georgia welcomed us to the neighbourhood with open arms the day we moved in. It was the start of a lasting friendship that continued even when we moved back to Canada. Georgia, we'll miss you! We are so lucky to have known you and how you made a difference in our lives. Thank you.
