Colonel Gerald Wayne Anderson, (Jerry), age 78, of Round Top, TX, departed this life February 12, 2010. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Beth; son: Scott Anderson of Perry, Florida; daughter: Sonia Miller and husband Randal of Houston, Texas; grandchildren: Shannon Miller, Cley Miller, Jon Anderson and Will Anderson. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17th at Houston National Cemetery. A memorial service for friends and family will be held 11:00 a.m. at Round Top Christian Fellowship Church in Round Top, Texas on February 18th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angels of Mercy Program, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 270, P.O. Box 3310 McLean, Virginia, 22101. This charity supports wounded soldiers and their families.
