

Gerald "Jerry" LaRose, 83, of Houston, died peacefully at Community Hospice in Fort Worth on Dec. 10, 2012. He joins his wife of 55 years, Geraldean "Jerry" LaRose, in their heavenly home. He is survived by daughters Ellen Jones and her husband Brad, Molly Hasenpflug and her husband Jim, grandchildren Christopher Hasenpflug and his wife Tara, Amanda Hasenpflug, Lauren Jones Veronie and her husband Lance, and Amy Jones.
Jerry was born Aug. 1, 1929 in Port Arthur, TX. He spent his working life as an accountant and in retirement he enjoyed making wooden toys and figures. He and his wife happily spent their last years at Eagle's Trace Retirement Community where he was active in leading the woodworkers in making toys for children in Child Protective Services.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 1:00 pm with a Mass at St. John Vianney Catholic Church; 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, TX 77079. Internment to follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
