

Gino Sirizzotti, 88, of Austin, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Gino was born October 12, 1932 in the San Andre Valley near Torrice, Italy. He immigrated at the age of 19 to Venezuela where he lived and worked in Caracas as well as building roads in the Amazon Jungle for nine years. He then moved to Toronto, Canada where his two brothers lived and while there, was encouraged by his Aunt Cecilia to travel south to Schenectady, New York to meet a nice young Italian woman there named Anna DiCarlo. They were married three months later and immediately moved together to Brooklyn, New York where he worked on the construction of The Brooklyn Bridge and on many high rise skyscrapers. Later the family relocated to Central Florida and later to Houston, Texas. Gino and Anna raised four children together during their 41 years of marriage before her passing in 2002. Gino is survived by his four children: Joanne and her husband Tim, John, Rocco and his wife Dora and Diane and her husband Chris and nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been made for Friday, September 3, 2021 at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077 as follows:
Visitation from 9 AM to 10 AM;
Funeral Service at 10 AM;
Committal Service at 11 AM
