Gloria Arce

Gloria Arce, 66, born August 9, 1948 passed away peacefully at home and went to be with her Lord on May 11, 2015. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents: Joe Cerda and Bernice Cerda-Gonzales. Left to cherish her precious memories: brothers: Joe Cerda, Jesse Cerda and Elias Gonzales; sons: Daniel Cerda and wife Valerie, Agustin Robles Jr. and wife Consuela; daughters: Anita Tovar and husband Ruben, Audrey Fontenette and husband Roland, Amanda Bocanegra and husband Martin, Andrea Olmeda and Angelina Robles. Gloria had a special place in her heart for all of her 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Gloria came to know the Lord 20 years ago; she always gave her all to serve the Lord and gave thanks to God for what she had. Gloria was a loyal member of Fellowship of the Nations and enjoyed teaching with the children’s ministries. Mom was a spectacular woman, a walking angel, a missionary, who was always there when we needed her with a positive spirit. She would give you her all with so much love. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Visitation will be Friday, May 15, 2015 from 5-9pm with an Evening Service at 7pm. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, May 16, 2015 in the Grand Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
