Gloria Robles

She was in and out of the hospital for the last couple of years and her health was a continuous roller coaster, so we were very fortunate to have her around for as long as we were blessed.

She is survived by her 4 children: Felicia , Veronica, Felix III and Joseph Robles.

Gloria is now in heaven with her parents, Dolo and Christine Garcia, her husband, father Felix Robles Jr. (married for 24 years before dad passed away in 2006), her brother, Ralph Garcia, her sister, Esmeralda Banda, and Gloria's 1st child Michael, who had passed before birth.

She was very involved with all of her loved one's health struggles and selflessly cared for her late husband until his last breath.

Gloria was never one to ask for much, but her heart was boundless.

She was always ready to lend a helping hand, embodying the true spirit of selflessness and humility.

Her involvement with the church and dedication to education reflected her desire to spread happiness and positivity wherever she went.

She had a very strong passion for teaching and dedicated herself to working for the Houston Independent School District and was very active with St. Christopher's Catholic Church; she taught CCE classes for several years.

Even in her final moments, she remained a beacon of warmth and kindness, endearing herself to her ICU and hospice caregivers.

She always encouraged her children to seek the Lord in the good and bad times and even with all the health scares, mom's Catholic faith remained strong.

She made it clear that she would always love her family and did her best to show her child how to live with love in their hearts.
