Glynn Nelson Womack, known by all as Nelson, was born January 29, 1936 to Claude and Anna Womack in Quitman, Louisiana. He walked into his heavenly home on October 30, 2020, holding hands with his wife of 66 years, Veda, in his earthly home, surrounded by his 3 children.
Throughout his life, Nelson had many loves, but was most known for his family leadership, his ministry, and his love of old cars, gospel music, and Oreos. He loved everyone he knew and everyone who knew him, loved him.
Nelson is preceded in death by his parents and his six sisters and four brothers. He is survived by his wife Veda Mayes Womack; children: Glen Nelson Womack Jr, and his wife Laura, Rex Allen Womack and his wife Pamela, and Darla Kay Nunley and her husband Paul; grandchildren: Kasey Nicole, Cassidi Danielle and husband Cortland Bingham, Paige Alexis, Jaxson Allen, Edyn Elizabeth, and Brooke Alyse; along with numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will begin on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. with the funeral service to begin promptly at 2:00 p.m.
