Graciela Villanueva, 77, of Houston, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023. She was born in Monterey, Nuevo Leon on November 26, 1945 to parents, Rosendo Guajardo and Angelina Guajardo Ramirez.
She met Benigno Villanueva in Houston, Texas and the two married on August 18, 1973. Graciela worked in hospitality for 20 plus years. She had a passion for family, her Rayados sports team and her garden.
Graciela is preceded in death by her parents, Rosendo and Angelina Guajardo; grandson, Isaac R. Ruiz; sisters, Maria De Carmen Pena, Maria Del La Luz Elizondo, Ladislada Valdes, Evelia Garcia, and Maria Isabel Resendez.
She is survived by her loving children; son, Benigno Villanueva, Jr., and spouse Ivon Olvera, daughter, Graciela V. Salazar, daughter, Jessica Ruiz and spouse Rolando Ruiz; grandchildren, Ashley N. Robledo and spouse Orlando Robledo, Caroline E. Ruiz, Matthew M. Salazar, Aalyah N. Villanueva, Emma G. Salazar, Aiden I. Salazar, Jessica L. Ruiz- Matute; sister, Angelina Guajardo; brothers, Rosendo Guajardo, Fernando Guajardo, Arturo Guajardo, 3 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Serving as pallbearers are Rolando Ruiz, Matthew Salazar, Eliseo Garcia, Robert Gonzales, Manuel Jara, Gerardo Pena.
