GREGORY W. PASIER of Houston, Texas was called home by God on November 20, 2017 at the age of 57. He was born on March 22, 1960 in Buffalo, NY but moved to Texas at the age of 20 in a converted snow plow pickup truck with no a/c, with a purpose & determination. He will be remembered by his family & friends as a jack-of-all-trades. Greg was destined to blaze his own trail and achieve success. Before the age of 32, he had built his own business and completed his family.
Greg embodied the entrepreneurial spirit, and when faced with overwhelming odds, he tried to always reinforce the positive and diminish the negative, never allowing failure to be an option. He was a fighter, he fought for everything he had; he was “The Man in the Arena.” Greg was passionate about fishing, traveling, documenting his life through photography & handwritten notes and above all else, his family. Greg’s legacy will be that he was the bedrock of his family always putting the needs of his children & wife above his own. He will be remembered as a hero to them; a man who did it all.
While his life was cut short, there is no doubt that Greg brought truth to the adage that “It’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.” Greg’s family and friends devote this obituary to him as a temporary goodbye, as we will all be together again in God’s eternal kingdom. His spirit is now free to soar and watch over us as we carry on his legacy.
Greg is survived by his children, Sabrina, Robert and his wife Nikki, his mother Shirley Pasierbowicz, & sisters, Pamela & Barbara and their families, as well as Katty’s extended family. He is preceded in death by his father William, loving wife Katty, her mother Maria & brother Walter.
Visitation will be on Friday December 1, 2017 from 5 - 8 PM followed by a funeral mass at 2 PM on Saturday December 2, 2017 at Forest Park Funeral Home, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
