Gwendolyn Martin Carter

Gwendolyn resided in Channelview, Texas for the majority of her life. After high school, she attended Massey Business College and for many years worked as an administrative assistant, and Human Resources Manager. Her two sons, Cody and Casey Carter, were the absolute loves of her life. Above all else, she cherished time spent and memories made with her family. She was playful, loved to laugh, dance, and shoot the breeze. She had a mischievous sense of humor and a smile that was infectious. Gwendolyn was passionate about what she believed in, and stood firm in her convictions. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to treasure her memories, are her son, Cody Carter, and wife Heather; grandchildren, Makenzie Carter, Victoria Newport and Michael Newport; siblings, Sharon Marsh, and husband Robert, Kim Oliver, and brother-in-law Gary, Glenn Martin, and wife Jennifer; nieces and nephews, Robert Marsh, Courtney Holt, Christy Green, Nanci Martin, Kristyn Martin, Morgan Martin, Kyle Martin; great nieces and nephews, Brandon, Hayden, Kayd, Ashlyn, Austin and Trinity. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Casey; parents Louis and Joann Martin; and grandson, Caleb Carter.
