

A graduate of Jeff Davis High School, he served his country as a medic during World War II in the Pacific Theater.
As an electrician he belonged to IBEW Local #716 for 65 years.
A devout Catholic, he served the Knights of Columbus # 4550 and was a charter member of St. Jerome’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lorene Cervenka Frank; children and spouses, Donna and Ernest Rigsby, Marsha and Joseph Block, Suzanne and Lonnie Varner, and Harold and Sharon Frank; grandchildren, Beckie Rigsby Martin, Brian and Vanessa Rigsby, Travis Varner, and Kevin and Katie Varner Aaron Frank; and great grandson, Mason Elliot Rigsby.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from nine until ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 7th of January, in the narthex of St. Jerome Catholic Church, 8825 Kempwood Drive in Houston, where a recitation of the Holy Rosary is to commence at ten o’clock, led by the Rev. Msgr. Dan Scheel.
A Mass of Christian Burial is to be offered at half-past ten o’clock, where the Rev. Msgr. Dan Scheel is to serve as the celebrant.
The Rite of Committal will immediately follow, via an escorted cortege, at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
After the interment, all are invited to greet the family during a reception at the church.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in his name be directed to the Alzheimers’ Association at 2242 W. Holcombe Blvd. Houston, TX. 77030.
