

Harold Floyd Lewis, 92, of Pasadena, TX, passed away on June 23, 2024. He was born to Floyd Lewis and Claudia Carroll Lewis. Harold graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in Houston, Texas and then attended the University of Houston for 2 years. He met JoAnn Ellisor in Houston, Texas and married on February 9, 1952. Harold worked as an auto mechanic at A&B Motor Company, Houston, and Jimmy's Auto Repair, Cypress, for a total of 40 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 56 years and served in the Korean War. He had a passion for deer hunting, golfing, and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, JoAnn Lewis; parents, Floyd Lewis and Claudia Carroll Lewis; sister, Yvonne Wheat.
He was survived by his children, Cheryl Kay McTaggart of Pasadena, TX and husband Don of Ridgely, WV, Mark Wayne Lewis and wife Karissa of Dallas, TX and Beth Deanne Ryan and husband Sean of Deer Park, TX; grandchildren, Spencer, Avery, Aiden, Gracen, and Harris; brother, Carroll Lewis and wife Bobbie of Riverside, Texas.
A visitation for Harold will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
