Harold Morgan Snead

Harold Morgan Snead, 66, passed away on February 19, 2019 in Texas City, Texas. He was born October 25, 1952 in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Harold graduated from Westbury High School in 1970. On February 2, 1973, he married the love of his life, Vickie Smith. Harold worked for the family business with his brothers and sister, starting with Alamo Salvage & Co. in the mid 1960’s, which became Snead’s Inc. in the mid 1970’s. The family business provided excavation work all over the Houston area.

Harold is preceded in death by his wife: Vickie Snead; parents: Harvey & Freeda Snead; sister: Roberta Snead; brother: Donald Snead; grandparents: Clarence & Theresa Snead, Tom & Lenora Burton. Left to cherish his memory, sons: David Morgan Snead and Harold Duane Snead; grandchildren: Daniel Craig Snead and Jenna Dene Snead; siblings: Daryl and wife Frankie Snead, Roger Snead, Katy and husband David Scott, Mike and wife Yvette Snead. With several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 24th from 2pm to 6pm. Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 25th at 2:30pm in Brookside Memorial Park.
