Hattie Mae Moses

Hattie Mae Moses, 97, of Houston, TX, died in Houston at Memorial Hermann Hospital of a stroke at 8:41 am on July 12, 2024. She was born in DeRidder, LA on December 9, 1926 to Albert and Celie Price.

Hattie attended Burris Elementary School and later Booker T. Washington Senior High School. Hattie was preceded in death by her parents; Albert and Celie Price, sisters; Stella Wilburn, Leola Booker, Nellie Livings, and Gussie McCoy, her daughter; Bernadette L. Moses, great grandson; Christopher Moses, and one niece and several nephews.

Hattie is survived by her daughter; Luretta Dean Moses, granddaughter; Shelbi Marie Moses, her great granddaughter; Journei Marie, her grandsons; Reginald Craig Moses and Cedric Allen Moses, great grandsons; Craig Anthony Moses, and Christian Moses, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.

A visitation for Hattie will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. A funeral service will immediately follow from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. The committal will follow from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at Cemetery Beautiful, 8401 Wheatley St, Houston, TX 77088.
