

Helen M. Bostic, 92 of Tomball, Texas passed away on July 28, 2017. Helen was born in New Albany, Mississsippi on October 25, 1924 to Robert M. Young and Buena V. Young. Helen was married for 63 years to James J. Bostic.
During her life she was a member of The Eastern Star where she was a Worthy Matron and she was also a member of the White Shrine. She had a passion for volunteering at nursing homes and a was a member of the Book Club.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Buena, her husband James J. Bostic, brother William T. Young, sisters Cyntha S. Anding and Louise McLeod. She is survived by daughters Linda Vanderkolk, Dorothy Riley and her husband Dave, Nancy Burr and her husband Gale, one son Jim Bostic and his fiancé Jennifer, and sister-in-law Mary Ann Nester. She is also survived by 5 granddaughters, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Chapel on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 1:00 pm, with a funeral service at 2:00 pm, conducted by Chaplin Steve Copeland. There will be a private family committal service.
