She was born June 7, 1919 to parents John Pinkney Neel and Harriett Elizabeth Phelps Neel. Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children: Bobbie Joan Patterson, George Monroe Fendley, Jr. and his spouse Pat and Novita Pearl Reimers; grandchildren: Keith Allen Patterson and his spouse Nikki, Heather Elizabeth McCarthy, Victoria Elizabeth Langlais and spouse Mike and Krystyn Alyse Rawlinson and her spouse Clent; and six great grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by her parents and daughter Sharon Elizabeth Fendley.
The family will receive friends for a visitation Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017 in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home followed by a burial in Brookside Memorial Park.
