Herman F. Smith, age 82, passed on 5/23/2015. He was preceded in death by his wife Grace of 42 years and his siblings. Herman is survived by his daughters, Melinda Millar (Bruce), Rebecca Charros (Gilbert), Donna Jones (Michael), LaDonna Smith (Jimmy); son, Kirk Smith (Doris); grandchildren, Grady, Kevin, Ashley, Robert, Curtis, Carey, LeeAnn; great-grandchildren, Maddison and Jackson. He served in the PFC Army at Fort Hood. Herman owned H.F. Smith Trucking. He enjoyed playing cards, listening to Box Car Willie, fishing, tinkering in the garage, riding around in the golf cart picking up cans, messing around in the yard and going on to Sunday morning breakfast and messing with his kids and grandkids.
There will be a visitation held in the main chapel of Forest Park Westheimer on May 27th from 2-3 p.m. The service will begin at 3 p.m. Interment to follow. Serving as Pallbearers: Grady Smith, Kevin Smith, Robert Millar, Curtis Jones, Carey Jones and Derek Hudeck.
