Howard A. Kiel

Howard grew up in Tulsa and attended Nathan Hale High School. In October 1985 Howard moved to Houston and began his career with the Houston Chronicle newspaper, where he remained employed until his death. While working at the Houston Chronicle, Howard met the love of his life, Miss Stephanie Diane Fletcher and on July 15, 2013, he and Stephanie were married. From this union one child was born, Lillian Cynobia Kiel.

Howard loved watching movies, and all kinds of technology but, nothing gave him more pleasure than spending time with his wife and children. He loved his family fiercely and took great pride in protecting and providing for his family.

Howard was called home to glory on Monday, June 5. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Regina Greeter and his brother Darren Kiel.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Stephanie D. Kiel, his daughters Cariesa Jones (Lee), Lillian Kiel, his sons Howard Kiel Jr., Antonio Kiel Janee) his grandchildren Lee III, Keyari, Elisha and Elijah, his brothers Robert Jr. and Michael, as well as a host of family and friends.
