Ignacio Gonzalez Jr.

Ignacio Gonzalez Jr, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the age of 45. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Ignacio and Yolanda, being the second of 7 children. He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Luz Gonzalez, four children; Stephanie, Matthew, Elizabeth and John, and grandson, Mykah. His loving family along with close friends will continue to keep him in their hearts.

Ignacio was hard working by nature; he gave everything he could to those he loved and was ready to lend a hand to those in need. He was a very devoted Catholic and a faithful member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Cleveland, Texas, and was elected the Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus in Beaumont, Texas in 2013 till present and was also a member of the Knights on Bikes. Ignacio took pleasure in the simple things in life and cared about those around him. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting and time with his family.

Visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 on Thursday, June 25, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm, Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 702 E. Houston St., Cleveland, Texas 77329 with Father Vincent Alexius officiating.
