Born August 30, 1937, in Austwell, Texas, he lived in Houston, Texas. A graduate of Jefferson Davis High School, he served in the U.S. Air Force in the early days of the Vietnam War where he worked in Finance. In his civilian life, he worked as a Machinist and later as a Mechanical Engineer for TRW Mission before taking early retirement in the late 80’s. He was active in the American Legion, and the VFW. His favorite pastime was dancing with his significant other, Sharron Moreland.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Sharron Moreland, his son, Adam J. Sanchez, his brothers, Silviano “Joe” Sanchez Sr., Adrian Sanchez, Oscar Sanchez Sr. and Ruben Minjares
sister, Marina Brewer.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, July 28, at Brookside Funeral Home 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039. Relatives and friends are welcome at the service.
