

She was born February 21, 1926 in Waterloo, Iowa to Albert and Beulah Salibury Frye. Attended East Waterloo High , and Rush Presbyterian Nursing College in Chicago
(Cadet Army Nursing Corps during WWII) becoming a R.N. Member of Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Alumni Association, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Thursday Club, St. Rita’s Altar Guild Group, charter member of the C.D.A. Court Christ the King #1750 (First Regent), K. of C. #2917 Ladies Auxiliary, Northwest Deanery-International Chairperson, Senior Senate, R.S.V.P., Strummin Saints – Ukelele Group, Senior Olympics-swimming 20 years and received gold, silver, and bronze medals, recognized by the House of Reps., Beefpoker BBQ Team Mom, San Jacinto Girl Scouts-45 years and enjoyed the Theatre and the Arts.
Predeceased by husband Micheal Morosin, Jr., parents, and grandson Micheal L. Morosin, Jr. Survived by daughter Denise Morosin Blonstein and husband David, Katy; sons Dennis Morosin and wife Brenda, Beaumont, Kevin Morosin, Houston, and Micheal L. Morosin of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren Dustin & Dalton Blonstein, Detra, Dennis, II, Heather, Melody and Micheal Morosin and Tracey Schwindt; great grandchildren Haley Morosin and Nickolas Schwindt; sister Pat Moore of Waterloo; numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. Ione loved genuinely, unconditionally and spiritually.
Visitation will be Tues. 9/21/2010 from 6-8:00pm, rosary by K. of C., C.D.A. and Ladies Auxiliary at 7pm at Pat H. Foley. Viewing will be from 12:30 pm until the funeral mass celebrated at 1:30 pm Wed., 9/22/2010 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, Houston 77018, interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
