Isabel Gutierrez

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Gutierrez Sr.; step father, George Yzaguirre Sr.; sister Josephine Infante; father-in-law, Pedro Flores and all of her furbabies.

Isabel will be missed dearly by her husband, Richard Flores; mother, Ruth Yzaguirre; mother-in-law, Gabriella Flores; her daughters, Ruth Gutierrez, Jessica Gutierrez, Monica Herrera-McMillen and husband Matt, and her son Gregory Herrera; brothers, Louis Gutierrez Jr.; Richard Yzaguirre and wife Nina; George Yzaguirre Jr. and wife Genia; grandchildren, Briana, Damian, Elaina, Angelica, Andrew, Abel, Ethan, Ally, Adam, and Madilyn; along with her nieces and nephews.

Isabel was known for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering commitment to those she loved. She had a passion for her faith and spreading the word to others, cooking for her family, loving on her fur babies, caring for her plants, and home decor. Her kindness touched the lives of all who crossed her path. She will be forever in our hearts.

A special thank you to the Gutierrez family, Flores family, Yzaguirre family, Hernandez family and all of her friends who loved and cared for her. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all who have supported them during this difficult time.

Serving as pallbearers are Adam Herrera, Damian Leoni, Samuel Cortez, Erick Garcia, Marcus Flores, George Yzaguirre Jr., Richard Yzaguirre, and Rene Gutierrez.

A visitation for Isabel will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Brookside Cemetery.
