My condolences to Isabel's family and loved ones! I learned today of her passing and I am heartbroken about the news. Isabel and I were about the same age, and to realize she is gone just aches my heart. Such a sweet person, full of dreams and life. May your soul rest in peace and know you will forever be remembered.  I am completely appalled by the news and I am most sincerely very sad about this news. It is through these times of heart ache and pain--at such a sudden passing that one can realize that life indeed is like a breeze. Amazingly, Isabelle left a most fresh and scented one, full of grace and life.

When I think of Isabel I think of grace and beauty, creativity and sweetness and so much more. She made my son the happiest man in the world the day they married.  Ray and I were honored to have her and all the Perez family as part of our family for many years which is why  we feel as if we have lost another child. My heart weeps for you, Alicia, because I know the pain you are going through. Cherish all the wonderful memories of sweet Isa and rest assured that she is with The Lord and you will see her again one day.

My sincere condolences go to Isabel's family. I just learned of this today, and it breaks my heart. I met Isabel a few months ago at a business social event and had the pleasure of getting to know her. Such a sweet and gentle young woman. Very intelligent with a sharp eye for creative art. In fact, at a lunch outing back in June, she taught me about the artwork on the walls at Churrascos. She was an excellent teacher, and I will always appreciate that lesson. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Isabel and I worked together at the Houston Galleria Store of Knowledge, and I will never forget how it seemed as though her smile could light up that whole mall! She never uttered an unkind word & could always put me in a great mood! I am blessed to have counted her as one of my friends. I will always love & miss my little "Isabeau!"

My dear friend Isabel!  I am so heartbroken to learn of your passing.  What great memories we have shared during the past years.  Your smile and all of the laughs we had together...I will cherish them always, as well as the beautiful bracelet you gave to me for my graduation.  I replay that night in my head and am so grateful to have spent that time with you catching up.   Prayers for your family during this very difficult time.

I had the pleasure of meeting Isabel at St John's Chrysostom's Icon Workshop.  She was very gifted and added much to our group.  Eternal memory Isabel.

I wonder if Rob was there to cross her over?  I never met Rob or her, but Rob's sweet mother,  Jan, is my very dear and special friend.

      I can talk for days non-stop about Isabel.  This is the short version of my time with her.  I met Isabel when she started working at the same company as me in 2012, shortly after my mother passed away.  The love of exploring new foods lead to us going to lunch together a few times a week and to some of the best conversations.  Even then I knew she was one of a kind.  After she left I missed those lunches, but we lost touch for a while.  Mid May of this year we got back in touch and in June we started hanging out.  One of the first things she told me was, "If you're going to be with me, get your passport"  July 4th we finally decided we should define what our relationship was and we started dating exclusively.  
      I once told her it's felt like we had been together for months already.  She apologized because she thought it was a bad thing.  I told her it was because everyday had been so full and I savored every moment.  Some people might say she lived each day to the fullest because it may be her last, but that's not the way I understood her.  Her outlook was very different.  The way I understood her was to live each day to the fullest, because there is so much more to do tomorrow.  After a weeks time together with her we had already talked about a months worth of things we wanted to do.  I was fortunate enough to have explored many types of foods and resturants, we got to travel (to Austin for our first date), even collaborated on a little bit of art with her, got to taste some of her cooking, and even cooked with her.  In small ways we got to do everything we wanted to do and everything we shared passions about, together.  A couple phrases I told her (she inspired) that she loved and said sent shivers down her spine.... "Isabel, you ease my mind, you fill my heart and you warm my soul." and after her saying my words were very poetic at times a form of art, I told her "When it comes from the heart, anything cane be a canvas."  Isabel, you will be greatly missed and will always have a special place in my heart.

My favorite thing about Isabel was just getting to know her. When we first met at work I would have never guessed the petite, soft spoken young woman who always  wore great shoes held within her such incredible talents, creativity, adventure and kindness. All the things I wanted to try  or learn she had already mastered....kayaking, painting, traveling, baking, remodeling....she went out and tried her hand at all the things I only thought about doing and I love this about her! Being around her was inspiring and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to know her. My heart is heavy for her family- her precious mother, sisters, brother, brother in laws, nieces and nephews- she loved all of you so much and talked about you often. I pray that God gives you strength and peace.

Isa, you'll be missed by many. You've taught people around you by example the joy of Christ. Children loved you for the pure heart you had. The heaven earned an angel. Love for ever.

Isabel, recuerdo tu sonrisa desde que eras niña, después en McKallen, y en Houston, en 1998.  Gracias por ser como una hermana para mi. ¿Recuerdas cuando nos divertimos en el Museo del Niño? Nunca olvidaré todo lo que hiciste por mi; tu generosidad, tu disponibilidad, tus atenciones. Tenía la esperanza que vinieras a Guadalajara y volviéramos a reir juntas.... Ahora ya estás sonriendo eternamente en el cielo. Te me adelantaste...

Alicia, David, Ana, July, Christy, Sara... Isabel es feliz ahora en el cielo, jugando entre los ángeles. El es un Ángel más que goza de la eternidad. Con la fe de la "Comunión de los Santos" le pido para que me ayude en mi caminar hacia la Vida Eterna.
