To David Roberson and family.  My condolences to you and your family, and may happy memories of your Mother bring you comfort.

I send my deepest condolences to the Alfred and Roberson family. Nanny and I have a very special bond, not as an ex mother inlaw, "ex" was never in our vocabulary between us, Nanny became another mom to me. Nanny I will always remember the advice you would give me "Pray" the long calls, she was never to busy  to talk. Always greeted me with a kiss on the lips. But most of all I will always remember your angelic voice of Praise you would sing unto the Lord. Nanny may your soul rest in Peace, until we see each other again 😘

I came to Houston, Texas when I was a little girl about the six of six, from Louisiana. The Roberson family took me in as their own (little girl). Pam was my first friend and both she and Rita were like sisters to me.(I didn’t have any biological sisters). Pam wouldn’t let anyone bully me, she always had my back. David calls himself my daddy just in humor. Nanny taught me everything I know domestically how to cook, how to sew(in the dungeon) and yes how to serve my husband. I watched Nanny cook/fix Pops plate then set it on the table. I find myself doing self doing the very same things. I remember Nanny taking us to the yellow building for brownies and Girl Scouts, and to all the many camp sites. I still have my Christmas Tree  skirt  Nanny made me by hand. She made my first prom dress etc and so much more. One of my fondest memories at the house was Silas Jr., told me and Pam he was going to whoop us, I can’t remember what we had  done….but this is when I learned he’s just a big teddy bear. Instead of whooping us he closed/locked the fence and told us not to go anywhere. I was trying to go home because I lived  across.the street, he wouldn’t allow it. I loved being at the house literally everyday it was always fun times. I don’t ever remember any fighting are arguing just great times. They were my first adopted FAMILY ,, now they are legitimately family (Felix’s Auntie)! I’ll miss the talks, but I’ll cherish soooo many memories. Love you Fanily!❤️🙏🏽
