Jack Lloyd Baker, Jr., born April 8, 1982, passed away June 18, 2016. He is preceded in death by his only brother and best friend, James Baker, for whom his son is named, grandparents, Eunice and John Dal Chaney and Elmo Baker.
Jack Jr. is a native Texan born in Houston and graduated from Westfield High School in 2000. He was employed at Baker Auto Sales, a family owned business with three generations represented until his grandfather’s death in 2014. His love for the auto industry began as a child and has continued, following in his father’s footsteps, throughout his life. He became a summer employee as a teenager and worked his way through the ranks, was the senior buyer, still working alongside his father. His loving memory will be cherished by all who knew him. The unique knowledge of vehicles he possessed will likely live on through his son, James, who is already quite skilled, having acquired his skills from the three generations before him.
The Baker family express their sincere appreciation to family members, neighbors, and countless friends for kind expressions of sympathy during this difficult time.
