Jack Meridith Owings III, 77, passed away May 16, 2011 and reunited with his loving wife, Peggy Je'Neine Stubblefield- Owings and daughter, Bonnie Elizabeth Owings. JM Owings was a Korean War Veteran that proudly served our country and later went into the electrical business which he remained doing until he retired. Left to cherish his memory are his precious children: Dyanne Whittenberg and husband Scott, Jack M. Owings IV and wife Christine, Steven Owings, Ada Mitchum and husband Danny; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Mathes; brother Richard C. Owings, Sr.; along with numerous other family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, May 21st at 10:30am in Brookside Chapel of the Chimes with Masonic Ceremony and Military Honors.
