Jack Leslie Strong, Sr.

He is survived by 5 children: Rhonda Strong, Jack Strong Jr. and wife Susan, Bruce Edward Strong, Joe Kevin Strong and wife Mary Beth, and Seth Patrick Strong. Two step children: Glen Pitts and wife Tina, Patricia Dingler and husband Wesley. Grandchildren: Melissa Jo Strong-Jackson, Brittany Gail Strong, Kevin Michael Strong, Shannon Michelle Strong, Kristy Strong and Kyle Edward Strong. Great-Grandchildren: Terry (TJ) Johnson II, Brett Lea Jackson, Jackson Thomas Strong, and Gavin James White. He is also survived by his brother Robert (Rudy) wife Charlie Faye

Jack was preceded in death by his Parents; Edward M. Strong and Mother Mary Lou Strong. first wife; Betty Jo Strong, Daughter in-law, Sandra Strong, granddaughter, Amy Jo Nicole Strong, Niece, Kelly Marie Strong and second wife, Betty Jean Strong and Brother, Seth Strong.

Serving as active pallbearers are; Kevin Strong Jr., Jack Strong Jr. Bruce Strong, Blake Jackson, Seth Strong and Bruce Strong. Honorary pallbearers names as follows: Joe Strong, Terry (TJ) Johnston II, Jackson Strong, Gavin White and Brett Jackson.

Service will be conducted in the Chapel at Forest Park Westheimer, Tony Tawater Officiating.

Jack served in the U.S. Navy, WWII. Graduate of the University of Houston he retired from Dow Chemical and Occidental Petroleum.
