Jackie Bass, 53, passed away peacefully February 25, 2012 in Houston, Texas after a long struggle with polycystic kidney disease. Jackie worked in the produce business as a broker and farmer for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife Anne, and six children, Courtney, Steven, Hannah, Maureen, Maggie and Robert. He is also survived by his father, Willie, stepmother, Bronis, brothers Ray and Edwin and sister Theresa and brother-in-law Jason Islam. He was survived by many other beloved family members. A Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 5-7pm with a Rosary service at 7pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 1pm at St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
