Jacquelyn “Jackie” Jones Morris, age 78, passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2015, surrounded by her family. Jackie was born in Elkhart, TX on November 1, 1936, to William Clyde Jones and Audrey Mae Jones who preceded her in death along with Lucy Beth Rogers, sister, and Billy Clyde Jones, brother. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, W.T. “Billy” Morris, son, Bill Morris and wife, Cindy, of Kurten, TX; daughter, Debbie Williams and husband, Marshell, of Navasota, TX; son, Bobby Morris and wife, Donna, of Montgomery, TX; son, David Morris and wife, Tracy, of Spring, TX; sister, Jean Manning and husband, Charlie, of Elkhart, TX; along with 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Brookside Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Friday at Spring Baptist Church, 633 Louetta Road, Spring, TX 77373, conducted by Dr. Mark Estep, Senior Pastor.
In lieu of flowers, Jackie requests donations be made to Spring Baptist Church Building Fund, or Choir, or charity of your choice.
