Jacquelyn Stuart left her earthly body to be with the Lord, Friday, January 8. She was born in Houston, September 13, 1929. Martin, her husband of fifty-three years was called to his heavenly home seven years ago. The love they demonstrated for one another was a great example to their family. They explored the world together after retiring. Jacquelyn began her education career in 1949 after graduation from the University of Houston. She retired as an administrator for the Houston School District in 1983.
Jacquelyn and Martin are survived by daughter, Terry Elkins and her husband Karl; son, Tim Stuart and his wife Wendy; grand children, Emily Strait and her husband Brian, Luke Provenzano, Blake Stuart, Reid Stuart, and great grand children Violet and Calvin Strait.
A family graveside service will honor her on Wednesday, January 13. She was loved greatly and impacted many lives by her faith, generosity, cheerfulness, patience and kindness. When going through any difficult time she taught her family to “put it in God’s hands”.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Star of Hope Mission or the Houston Humane Society.
