Jake Hieu Quoc Nguyen

On Thursday evening around 10:30PM, our brother’s life was taken. While his case remains open and the investigation is ongoing, we want to honor and celebrate his life knowing that he’s gone on to be with the Lord.

Jake was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He was kind as could be, compassionate toward all, and loved life. He was a service member in the Marine Corps that served honorably before being discharged to come back home and care for his family. He truly embodied the core values of dedication and loyalty as he would sacrifice his time and resources to help anyone in need. He studied to become an EMT in hopes of saving lives and helping others.

He leaves behind his mother Chi, 2 younger sisters Cindy and Wendy, along with 2 brothers Randy and Matthew Tuan.

Please join us in celebrating Jake’s life, Services will be held on September 19, 2025, at American Heritage Funeral Home starting with a Visitation from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM then the Celebration of Life will start from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM followed by Committal Service with Military Honors at Houston National Cemetery from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM.
