Jim was a long time resident of Houston. He graduated from San Jacinto High School and attended the University of Houston. In 1956, Jim married Betty Spinner. They began their family several years later with two children, Michael and Karen. He was a member of Hope Episcopal Church for almost 50 years.
Jim was employed for many years as an outside salesman, winning numerous awards. Through the years, Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball, and spending time with his family. For many years, his hobby was Taxidermy, which remains a living legacy. Jim is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Michael; daughter, Karen; grandchildren, Shannon and Reid; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time. A special thanks to Houston Hospice for their excellent care.
