James was 91, he passed away peacefully surrounded by love. He lived a life marked by deep faith, unwavering kindness, and a gentle spirit. A devoted Christian, he prayed for his family every morning and walked closely with God throughout his life.
James was married to the love of his life Shirley for 62 years. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and devotion. He cherished his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren alike. He was young at heart and ready to play, tell stories, or offer a warm smile. He never met a stranger and touched countless lives with his compassion.
He enjoyed simple things —his morning donuts and hot chocolate, playing dominoes with Greg and friendly sports rivalries, teasing with Eric about the Rockets and Spurs. The family’s lake house was his peaceful sanctuary, a place where he walked, talked with God, and found rest.
James was a man of strong faith, believing wholeheartedly in God’s promises. He is now resting in the presence of the Lord he served faithfully.
His legacy lives on in his family and all those whose lives he touched.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Haserodt.
