James Francis Jasper

Originally from Johnstown, Pennsylvania (PA) and a resident of Houston, Texas, for over 30 years, he is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Swank of Pittsburgh, PA; brothers, Robert of Somerset, PA and Ron of Portage, IN; nieces, Theresa Legge of Pittsburgh, PA and Ronni Morrissey of Mechanicsville, MD; great nieces, Nicole Legge of Pittsburgh, PA and Mikayla Sewell of Valparaiso, IN; nephews, Richard Swank of Pittsburgh, PA and David Jasper of Portage, IN; and great nephew, Trevor Hart of Valparaiso, IN. James was preceded in death by his partner, the late Dean Benson; his parents, the Conrad and Mary; a brother, Johnny; and by a nephew, Marine Sgt. Zachary Jasper.

In accordance to James’ wishes, no formal services are to be conducted. His remains are to be cremated and then laid to rest in Indiana, with those of his mother, Mary.
