He was born in Gladewater, Texas on August 16, 1939. James graduated from Andrews High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University.
He was married to Jenna Lucille Sanders for 52 years.
James worked as an Independent Auditing Consultant for Oil and Gas Plants across the nation.
He was survived by children, Robert Sanders of Houston, Texas, Jessie and Carrie Sanders of Lubbock, Texas; Grandchildren, Misty Sanders of Atlanta, Georgia, Courtney Sanders of Lubbock, Texas, & Tiffany Sanders of Lubbock, Texas; Siblings, George Sanders of Addison, Texas, Morris & Piper Sanders of Haltom City, Texas.
Preceded into Glory by his wife, Jenna Lucille Sanders, his Father Olen Hartley Sanders, his mother Lou Vera Sanders, and his sister Elizabeth Pearl Munn.
