Aunt Jane, It will be very hard coming to Houston and not being able to see that beautiful smile.  I can never explain what you have meant to me over the years.  I will miss you greatly.  You were always there when I needed to stop by and talk something over.  You showed me what being a great parent was.  I will have great difficulty in following your lead.  I love you.  Your nephew,

Our family was saddened to hear of the loss of your Mother. Todd and Teresa please know both of you and your families have our deepest sympathy. May you both find comfort in the wonderful memories you have of Jane. Our thoughts and prayers will be with all of you in the days ahead.

My happiest memories were spent with Aunt Jane.  She always had a ready smile and hug.  She loved her family.  I remember her and Uncle Frank setting at the kitchen table playing cards with my parents.  I loved watching her beautiful 6 children. She was always the loving aunt, sister, daughter, mother and grandmother. You're now in Heaven with your husband, mom and dad and your siblings and I'm sure you are smiling that big smile and hugging them all.  I Love You.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.  It is with heartfelt thoughts that we send our most sincere condolences.

My heart goes out to her family and friends, I remember her well from my childhood and she was a wonderful person.  My prayers are with you.

I cant believe I will never call and hear your voice say " Good morning, darling!" Or "Hows my boy doing?" You always knew exactly what to say to make me feel like I was across the kitchen table and not miles and miles away.  I will always have a piece of my heart missing until I see you again! I love you more than you will ever know!

My prayer's and thoughts go out to all of the Gunnell family during this difficult time. I was so blessed to be able to meet and get to know such a very special sweet Lady. She will bring a smile to my face everytime I pass by.

It has been a great honor to have know Mrs. Jane and all the hapiness you shared.  She knew about hard work and the blessings of a life well lived.  She was always happy to see you.  She always made you feel welcome in her presence.  Our prayers are with her family at this time of great loss.

I pray for peace for the Gunnels family. I'm so glad I got to meet Grandma Gunnels, what a sweetheart.

Aunt Jane you were always the glue in our family always catching me up and making me smile.  You were the one who would make me think and ask the hard questions.  I will miss you my sweet,sweet aunt.

Words cannot express the grief I feel in losing you Aunt Jane. I was not ready for you to go so quickly without being able to tell you goodbye. I will miss how you always answered my telephone calls with, "Hello Niecee Poo" and how people always thought I was one of your kids when we would be out in public when I was a little girl. My heart breaks for your family and the loss they must be feeling right now. I know your suffering has ended, but I wish you were still here with us. I will miss your contagious laugh, advice regarding life, and the good conversations we've had. My condolences, prayers, and love go out to all of your kids and grandchildren. Grandma, you have been my rock and the glue that has held our family together for all these years. It's going to be tough to get on without you, but we'll have to manage. You'll be greatly missed and are still greatly loved. Thank you for everything you've done for all of us. We love you.

Oh Jane, I will miss your lovely voice and that sweet smile and laugh you had.  I remember coming over and playing with Robin when we were little, you were like a second mother to me.  I will always
love you and I will miss you so much. Mom just told me this morning she does not know what she is going to do in the mornings when she does not have you to talk to, she really misses you. Rest in peace...

I have many wonderful memories of the times we spent with Jane Ann and Frank Eugene. I haven't seen Jane Ann in sometime but she has been in my heart.  She will be greatly missed.

I sure do love you, Grandma. I will miss you every day of my life. I'll especially miss hearing your voice and your blunt remarks. :) You were truly one of a kind and I hope as many people can grow to love me as they did you.

One of the most marvelous gifts is the gift of a woman who has a giving and compassionate heart. Jane Ann, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt was indeed a marvelous woman. 

God gave her to us for a season and now she returns to her heavenly father, reunited with her husband and all her family who have made this journey before her. 

The sorrow we feel is born out of the love we have for her. To mourn her passing is how God has created us. Thank you Aunt Jane for being YOU! You left a part of your smile in all of us!
