Janell Henderson Weems

Janell Henderson Weems was born in Richton, Mississippi and passed away on November 5, 2012 in Houston, Texas. Janell is preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Carl Henderson, her brother Carl Henderson and sisters Bernadine Holland and Frances Sims. Janell is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Waddie Peyton Weems, daughter Mary Beth Slater and her husband David, her son Karl Peyton Weems and his wife Gwen. Also survived by her grandchildren Margaret Lowe Belchic, Joseph Peyton Belchic, Jason Keith Weems and his wife Hailey, Joshua Lee Weems and his wife Amy and her great grandchildren Noah, Quinn and Elijah and her sister Linda Smith. A memorial service celebrating Janell’s life will be on Saturday, November 10, 2012 in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 12:30 P.M. Prior to services Janell’s family would have gathered for a private entombment to say their farewells. Concluding services Janell’s family will have a catered reception to reflect on the wonderful life that she lived. Janell’s family would like to thank Dr. Anthony Gunawon and Dr. Larry Penick, and Dr. Jill Jarrell and the staff at Vitas Hospice, the Parkway on Eldridge, and the Buckner Hospice Group.
