

Jason Lee Foyt passed away Dec. 9, 2022 with his wife by his side. Jason was born July 12, 1971 in Houston, Texas to Rudy and Vernell Foyt. Jason went to St Rose of Lima Catholic School and graduated from St Pius X High School in which he was a catcher for their baseball team, and they went on to win 3 State Championships. That was a wonderful experience for him. He then graduated high school and went to Blinn College. Jason was an accomplished Security Architect Engineer for Cradlepoint at his passing.
Jason enjoyed all kinds of sports, baseball with his son, watching football with his wife, family and friends. He was a huge Texas Longhorn fan as well as a Houston Astro fan. He had the opportunity to take his son to the World Series this past season. As he put it, the experience he had with his son, Gavin at the World Series game was just totally awesome. He excitedly watched Gabby when she was on dance team at school. He was so proud of his kids. Jason was a soft hearted man. He would do anything for anyone. He knew how to have a good time.
Jason married the love of his life on Oct 23, 2021, Kateri. They were soulmates. They were together for 14 years before they married. He was so much in love with his wife. Jason had 2 children Gavin and Gabrielle (Gabby). Along with Kateri, they were his motivation to live life to the fullest. He was so proud of Gabby’s accomplishments at college, University of Oklahoma. Gavin is a senior in high school this year and they were working towards his college choices. He would just beam with pride when talking about his kids. A wonderful Dad and husband.
Jason was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Vernell Foyt. He is survived by his wife, Kateri Foyt, son, Gavin Foyt and Daughter , Gabrielle Foyt. 3 sisters Jackie Mortimer and Rick, Michelle Koonce and Allen, and Gay Kansteiner and Gary., Mother in law , Armin Porter, Father in law, Harry Reinhold, step Father in Law, Darryl Herzik and 2 sister in laws, Brooke and Kyle.
A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 19, 2022 rom 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Pat H. Foley & Co. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 10:00am at Pat H. Foley & Co. His interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
