

Jerry Dean Bullock, 82, of the Woodlands, Texas passed away on Wednesday January 4, 2012. He was born on Friday December 20, 1929 in Marthaville, Louisiana to Uber Sidney and Ella Susan Bullock. He proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. Jerry graduated from LSU and he continued to be an avid fan. During his long career as a Petroleum Engineer he worked for Exxon, Superior, BP, and Coastal oil companies. He was an active member at Chapelwood United Methodist Church for many years and served in many capacities. He also served in the Prison Outreach Ministry. He was also active in Pioneer Oil Producers Society, (P.O.P.S.). His parents, and his wife, Frances Bullock of 54 years, preceded him in death. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Jerry is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Capps Bullock; children, Beverly Clary and husband Charlie, Susan Zohn and husband Lenny, Jerry D. Bullock, Jr. and wife JoAnn; grandchildren, Ryan Clary and wife Renee, Adam Clary and wife Hope, Rachel Clary, Kyle Clary, Jamie Salik and husband Eric, Logan Wigglesworth, Abbie Zohn, Samantha Zohn, Bethany Bullock, Ben Bullock, and Hannah Bullock; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Ayden Salik; brother, U.S. Bullock, and sister, Grace Gentry. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00pm on Friday January 6, 2012 in the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday January 7, 2012 in the Chapelwood United Methodist Church 1114 Greenbay, Houston, Texas.
All of our lives were enriched by his gentle nature and his unfailing love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all.
