He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings; Leon, Edward and Elaine Slatton. His surviving siblings are Michael and Eugene (Velma) Slatton, both of Toledo, Ohio.
Jerry and Gloria (Maxwell) Slatton were married in 1978. To this union Jerry II and Brittany Chevon Slatton were born.
Jerry put on Christ at an early age and remained faithful until death. Jerry loved teaching Sunday School at the Sugar land Church of Christ. He also worked in finances at the church and enjoyed interacting with his church members.
Jerry retired from British Petroleum (BP) in 2012, where he was a regional manager in accounting. Jerry was very active in the HOA Board. He also held an office in the Municipal Utility Department (Mud Board).
He enjoyed riding his bike and going to car shows. He had a huge collection of baseball caps and loved Marvel Movies.
Jerry you will be missed by family and friends. Rest in eternal peace.
