Jesse Daniel Harrison, a beloved resident of Houston, Texas, passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 41. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia on June 20, 1983, Jesse lived a life marked by bravery, compassion, and adventure.
Jesse graduated from Wheeling Park High School and pursued higher education at West Liberty University, where he received his bachelor's degree. He furthered his studies in business information systems at DeVry Columbus, Ohio in 2006, and later studied instrumental process control at CCAC in 2016. His commitment to learning was a testament to his wise and dedicated nature.
A proud member of the United States Army, Jesse served as a Satellite Communications specialist. Served in Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He was a Staff Sgt in the Army. Following his military service, he embarked on a career in the oil and gas field. Later on working at Baker Hughes, where his hard-working and honest demeanor earned him respect and admiration.
On April 2, 2011, Jesse married the love of his life, Sharless Harrison. Together, they nurtured a loving family and were blessed with three beautiful daughters: Breanna, Aaliyah, and Danielle Harrison. Jesse's devotion to his family was unwavering, and he was a cherished husband and father.
Jesse's personal interests and hobbies reflected his adventurous and spirited personality. He had a passion for reading, gaming, and board games, and was an avid collector of Godzilla and Ninja Turtles memorabilia. A devoted fan of wrestling, baseball, and football, Jesse found energy and joy in every match and game, embodying his competitive and spirited nature.
Jesse is survived by his wife Sharless Harrison; his daughters, Breanna, Aaliyah, and Danielle Harrison; his grandfather Jess B. Ostrander, his father Ronald Harrison; his step-mother, Carol Harrison; his mother-in-law Debbrie Crowe; his brothers, Brian Harrison (wife Rhonda Harrison) and Jeremy Harrison (wife Susan Harrison); his nieces Aiden Harrison, Allie Harrison, Kiley Ward, and Kyley Harrison; his nephews Jake Harrison, Ryan Ward, Brandon Harrison, Brooks Harrison, and Evan Harrison; his uncle, Tim Harrison; his aunt, Missy Ostrander-Sadlowski; his uncle, Frank Sadlowski; and his cousin, Avery Sadlowski. He is predeceased by his mother, Angela Ostrander, his brother, Jody Harrison, and grandmothers; Dorothy Lucas and Jacqueline Ostrander.
Jesse's legacy of kindness, loyalty, and generosity will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was an inspirational and selfless individual whose thoughtful and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. Jesse will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
