

Jessie James Williams was born on July 11, 1935 to Zack Williams Sr. and Girlean Crenshaw-Williams in Anderson- Grimes County, Texas. Jessie married Annie D. Williams in 1957 and to this union 1 child, Larry James Williams was born.
At an early age he accepted Christ and attended 2 different churches in his community. He was a graduate of George Washington Carver High School, Navasota Texas. After Graduation, he moved to Houston to begin his career in food service. He worked for Memorial Hermann hospital for 27 years. Then took his talents to MD Anderson Cancer Center and worked there for 19 years where he retired as a Cook III. During this time, he joined Ebenezer United Methodist church, Houston Texas where he served as co-chair of their Men’s Organization.
He loved going to the country and tending his livestock until his health no longer allowed him to do so. On June 30, 2020, he peacefully transitioned from his earthly home with his wife and son by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Zack Williams Sr., Girlean Crenshaw-Williams and siblings, Rachel Williams, Zack Williams Jr, Alice Mae Mason, Sarah Mae Thomas.
He leaves to cherish his memory wife of 62 years, Annie D. Williams, Son, Larry Williams Sr., grandchildren, Larry Williams Jr. & Delisa Williams-Sanchez, great grandchildren, Zayden Williams & Zaleah Williams, brothers, Wesley G. Williams, John I. Williams, and special nephew Andre Williams and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
