I wanted to share 2 memories 1 of them is the picture you see below, it was the beginning of quarantine and my gaming headset broke and we went to go get in line and he pulled out his phone and took a picture with me, now the 2nd memory is a memory i wont forget it was , Tony (one of my dads friends), my dad, and me and it was mid-day and my dad asked me “wanna go fishing” and im a kid who loves fishing so i said “are you joking” cause he used to play around alot and he said “no” and so i ran outside and packed all the fishing gear and we left and me and my dad joked and had fun on the way there and when we got there we were fishing and Tony, my dad, and me we have a competition to see who can catch the first fish or who can catch the biggest fish and that day we didnt catch anything but we didnt care cause we got out the house and had a bonding moment just my dad and me and on the way back to the house we ate sun flower seeds had the windows open and listened to the music it was a father and son moment and ima miss him he was the one i looked up too, the one that gave me confidence now that he isnt here its a different feeling in the house and it just isnt the same with out my dad…

Tio Jesse...I still can’t believe you’re not with us. I will always treasure all the great memories as a kid growing up. I remember us going to the beach and the valley with the whole family. It’s those times I cherished before you left us and now I think about it even more that you’re not here. 

I always loved being around you because you were always the man I looked up to be like, hard working and a loving father and husband. I loved that you treated me as your own and was always there for my family when needed. 

Even as I grew into an adult, your voice of reason was always in the back of my head helping me. I loved every single minute I was with you and my Tia. It always brought me joy when I visited as a kid and as an adult. 
I’m heartbroken  we never got to do the things we said we would do together. 

I’ll always love you and miss you. I’ll see you one day in the future, save me a beer until then.

My boy Jesse.  This is hard. Jesse help me coach the senior boys, one of the best to do It.  We talked almost everyday for about a year along with my other boy Julio on the WhatsApp and the man had a golden heart.   Everyday we told each other good morning and talked about everything, work, weather, politics, music, seafood, fishing, traveling and his family. He loves his family  and I know he’s by their side everyday! We miss you brother and we’ll see each other soon!

My wife Norma Ruiz, little Eli and myself still can't believe it coach Jesse.  We remember when little Eli first played on your team, The Pirates and The Yankees, you were a great coach, person over all. So many years of knowing you were amazing,  never a dull moment when we hung out. Until we meet again brotha. My condolences to Aida, Dominic, and the rest of the family. 🙏 

Still in disbelieve... my compadre always strutting his muscles "macho man"... we told him he was  the sea monster. Great memories with him and his family we will always cherish. Love ya compadre keep the beers and tequila cold until we meet again.

Man I’m still in disbelief over this. The other day as I was searching through my contacts and seen your name I froze for a bit, as I knew I couldn’t reach out to you anymore. You were definitely one of the good guys and even though you were a Yankees fan, you were good with me. Anyway no more suffering or pain bro. Thanks for letting me into a small part of your life through baseball. 

Love u bro. There’s so many memories!the bbqs , poke nights , just hanging out with u and Aida an your family .  I miss u 

Had the pleasure of going to school with Jesse and his wife Aida hung out skipped school and remembering all the mess we used to get into Hard to believe he s gone so young May you rest in peace brother !



I wanted to take a second and capture the moment because it was so bitter sweet. Nikolai was pretty much always in his grandpas arms. Their bond is so strong. I loved seeing Nikolai & Mr. Gaytan together. I knew no matter what they’ll always have each other & it was something I’m grateful for.  Nikolai is such a sucker for his grandpa. He would pick him out of all of us in a heartbeat. The smile said it all for me. I loved Mr. Gaytan and all the kindness he gave me even when I was being a knucklehead. He took me out to eat a lot when I was pregnant with Nikolai and we talked about many things. I’m really really going to miss him. Grateful to God for the time we were able to spend with him. We are ALL going to miss him so very much.
