Doctor Jesus R. Portela departed this life on January 17, 2017, at the age of 91. Jesus is survived by his wife Lillian, with whom he shared 67 years of marriage. His son Raul, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and great granddaughter.
Visitation will take place on Saturday January 21, 2017 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079.
