Jewel Freeman

Jewel Freeman, age 89, of Huffman, Texas passed away on October 16, 2021. Jewel was born and raised in Lonoke, Arkansas, she got married to E.O. Freeman and moved to Houston in 1952 and started a family.

She was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Jewel loved gardening, spending time sitting on the porch, listening to country music, and loving her kids and grandkids.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Judy Walter, Debra Lack, and Connie Owens; grandchildren, Randall Walter, Sheila Carpenter, Julia Garcia, Steven Tubbs, James Tubbs, and Terry Tubbs; great grandchildren, Heather Holcomb, Dylan Myers, Trey Newman; great great grandchildren, Kayliegh Holcomb, Tyler Holcomb, Brianna Holcomb, Alanna Holcomb, Joshua Holcomb; and sister, Patsy Jean Jones.

Jewel is preceded in death by her loving husband E.O. Freeman and daughters Patricia Tubbs and Sandra Freeman.

Serving as pallbearers are, Michael Owens, Randall Walker, Dylan Myers, John Holcomb, Adam Garcia, and Joe Guerra.

A visitation for Jewel will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home with the burial to follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
