

Jimmy Garcia, 85, of Houston, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2025. He was born on April 19, 1940, in Goliad, Texas, where he grew up and later moved to Victoria, Texas before moving to Houston.
Jimmy was a hardworking and determined man who built a career in construction and later became the proud owner of his own business, Jim's Acoustics. Beyond his work, Jimmy had a true passion for classic cars and could often be found admiring, talking about, or working on them.
Jimmy's greatest joy in life was his family. He was preceded in death by Patsy Garcia, his sister Aurelia Brush, and his brothers Frank, Raymond, Paul and Joe Garcia.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through his children, Michael Longoria (Gracie), James Garcia, Denice Rincon (Kevin), stepdaughter Gretchen Tapanes (Mario), and through his cherished grandchildren, April, Stephanie, Kayla, Hannah, Michael Jr., Emily, Rebecca and Kehlani.
Jimmy will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love of family, and the many ways he touched the lives of those around him.
A visitation for Jimmy will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A rosary service will take place Friday, September 12, 2025 at 7:00 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A visitation will occur Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A chapel service will occur Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A committal service will follow Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
